HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I love this Valentine's Day! It is sweet baby Claire's first Valentine's Day and I couldn't be happier! We woke up and had breakfast. While Claire was finishing up her Cheerios and yogurt melts (which are her FAVORITE these days), I set up her Valentine's gift in her room.

Mommy and Daddy got her a Valentine's puppy named 'Sweatpea' and two books!

The books are 'You're my Little Love Bug' and 'I love you Through and Through'. I love them both. They're so fun and sweet. I'll share the words with you in this post. Why?!... because they're just such sweet books! I love children's books.

Claire was so sweet. She loved the puppy and her new books! She even started barking when she first saw the pup.

The rest of the day has been good too! The three of us (Mommy, Daddy and Claire) went on a Valentine's brunch date. Afterwards we headed home and have been cleaning the house. My mom (Claire's Nina) will be visiting on Wednesday. She's going to watch baby Claire while Tim and I slip away on our first little get-away. We're going to the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. Super excited!

Oh... and I bet you're all just dying to know what Tim got me for Valentine's Day! No... not a diamond ring... not a proposal... but... NEW TOILET SEATS!! I'm kidding just a little bit. But I did talk him into going to Lowe's to get new ones and when we left his words were, "Happy Valentine's Day, we got new toilet seats." He did get me pretty flowers too! And a very sweet card.
